Barcelona is a shopper's paradise, full of shops, enormous shopping malls. The most important shopping streets you can find around the city center are listed below.

Please bear in mind that many shops in Barcelona keep the old tradition of closing their doors starting from 13.00 or 13:30 until 16:00 or 16:30. This happens especially in family and small business. The department stores, malls and most shops in the city center are open all day. In general, shops in Barcelona are open until 21.00.
On Sundays, shops are not opened except on the Christmas period. You can only go shopping on Sundays at Maremagnum shopping center in the port of Barcelona.
Passeig de Gracia
In this famous street, you can find a lot of various shops, of which many are expensive, like Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Jimmy Choo and Rolex. But there are also some cheaper shops like Zara, Mango, H&M, Calzedonia and Woman's secret. (Metro stop : L4 or L2 Passeig de Gracia)
Tip: Visit the special furniture shop of Vinçon. (Passeig de Gracia, 96)
Portal de l´Angel
A very busy shopping street where you can find all commercial shops such as Zara, Bershka, Massimo Dutti, Oysho, Uterqüe, Calzedonia, Stradivarius and more. (Metro stop: L3, L1 or L2, Catalunya)
Tip: for designer clothes, you can visit El Corte Inglés, also the new H&M (designed by the Spanish Javier Mariscal) is worth visiting.
The main part of this street is between Passeig de Gracia and Plaça de Francesc Macià. Here you can find very expensive shops and chic boutiques, such as Emporio Armani, D&G, Comptoir des Cotonniers, Loewe, but also the cheaper and commercial shops. (Metro stop : L3, Diagonal or Maria Cristina)
Tip: visit also Bimba & Lola if you are looking for nice clothes. Pilma and Habitat are very nice furniture stores if you are looking for decorations. At the end of the street, in direction Zona Universitaria, you will also find the shopping centers L'Illa Diagonal and Pedralbes Center.
Carrer de Pelai
It is an ideal street if you are looking for shoes. Also located here are Blanco, Massimo Dutti, Desigual, Levis, Oysho, Mango, Topshop, Top Man, Pull & Bear, Bershka, Stradivarius, Accessorize, C&A and Foot Locker. (Metro stop: L1 or L2, Universitat)
Tip: visit also the Sephora, which is the biggest perfumery in Barcelona. You can find the shop in El Triangle, a small mall next to Plaça Catalunya, with stores like Fnac, Massimo Dutti, Havaianas, Watx, Camper, Hello Kitty and Habitat.
In the most famous street of Barcelona, you can find a lot of Kiosks, flower stalls, souvenirs kiosks and street artists.
Many stores can be found along the street, such as Desigual, Springfield, Adidas, Custo and many small shops.
Also, a vast range of restaurants can be found around the area, the best of them in la Boqueria. The Boqueria Market is also located on this street and is certainly worth a visit. (Metro stop: L3, Liceu)
Rambla de Catalunya
A very nice street to walk. Here you can choose between many bars and restaurants, but also find shops such as Zara, Zara Home, Misako, Panama Jack, Sephora, MAC, Tous, Intimissimi, United Colors of Benetton, Oysho and Massimo Dutti. (Metro stop: L3, Diagonal)
