The Annapurna, which is located in the small country of Nepal, is a part of the Himalaya and its highest peak is one of the 10th highest in the world and belongs to the 14 "eight-thousanders" with an altitude of at least 8000 m. Furthermore, it is also the name of the goddess of fertility and agriculture in the Hindu culture that is predominant in Nepal. Therefore, it seemed suitable to name one of the only Nepali restaurants in Barcelona like this as well.
Having only been founded in 2009 in the Eixample district this small restaurant offers great Nepali and Hindu dishes that are true to their origin and known for their incredible intensity of flavors. The atmosphere is welcoming, colorful and the quality of food and the prices are very good -also for diners with a smaller budget. Especially the lunch menu offers great dishes for little money and is highly recommendable. If you are looking for a flavor intensive and exotic meal at affordable prices then this is the place to go for you.
