One of the main attractions for those who visit Barcelona on a regular basis is the famous Formula one circuit of Catalonia (Circuit de Catalunya). For those who are addicted to the high speed races, this place is a dream coming true and it can't be missed.

The circuit was founded in 1991 and was host of the Spanish Grand Prix straight away. Today the course is seen by drivers as quite hard, because the wind direction can change dramatically in a split-second. Over 13 races are going to be running in the Montmeló circuit, of which four are motorcycle races and seven for cars.

If you arrange things in advance you can also save costs significantly by sharing your accommodation with others and renting one of the hundreds of the holiday accomondations.

Some short term rentals agencies in Barcelona, such as can help you to arrange for everything you need: the accommodation in Barcelona or near the circuit, the transportation if needed, getting the tickets, restaurants booking etc. This combination of first class tourist destination together with the cost effectiveness that characterize Barcelona is something that you cannot miss, especially when it comes to the formula 1 races.
