Birçok kiralık dairemiz bu bölgede yer almaktadır. Barri Gothic/Gothic Quarter veya diğer bir adıyla Cathedral Quarter La Rambla'nın hemen batısında yer alır ve Plaça Nova(L-5)'ya kadar uzanır. Romalı Barcino kolonisinin 1. yüzyılda kurulduğu ve şehir surlarının 3. yüzyılda inşa edildiği bölgedir. 13. ve 15. yüzyıllar arasında esas olarak şekillenen Barri Gothic, şehrin en simgesel yapılarını içinde barındırmaktadır.

Dar ve rüzgarlı sokakları ile bir labirent görünümünde olan Barri Gotic ilk anda hareketlerinizi kısıtlıyor gibi hissedebilirsiniz. Tavsiyemiz her zaman yukarı veya çevrenize bakmanız böylece hoş binaları kaçırmamanızdır. Bölgede dinlenebileceğiniz ve etrafı izleyebileceğiniz küçük küçük meydanlar bulunmaktadır.

En sevimli meydanlar Plaça del pi ve Plaça Sant Josep Oriol'dür. Her iki meydan da hafta sonları sanatçıların pazar yerine dönüşür. Ayrıca bu bölgenin ortasında Barselona Katedrali bulunmaktadır.

Alışveriş de bu bölgede keyiflidir. Daha kalabalık olan kısım Calle Portal del Angel ile Calle Avinyo arasında kalan kısımdır. Bu bölgede alışveriş yapmak özellikle öğleden sonra son derece hoştur.

Barri Gothic'in her iki tarafında birer ve La Rambla üzerinde 3 tane, ayrıca Jaume 1 olmak üzere yaklaşık 6 metro istasyonu vardır. Ancak bu bölge nispeten küçüktür ve her yer yürüyüş mesafesindedir.

Sonuç olarak, bu bölge tatilinizi geçirmek için uygun ve keyiflidir. Tatil dairenizi tutarken bu bölgeyi göz önünde bulundurmanızı tavsiye ederiz.
