How to buy tickets for F.C Barcelona games in the Camp Nou

FC Barcelona is a club with a lot of superlatives: with more than 162.000 members, FC Barcelona is the second largest sport club worldwide. With Camp Nou in his possession, FC Barcelona has the largest Football stadium in Europe and also the biggest amount of fans in Europe. In the fiscal year 2009/10, the club obtained a turnover of 445 Million € with a profit of 9 Million €.

Most of the tourists are coming to Barcelona with the intention to see a football game of FC Barcelona in the Camp Nou stadium once in their lifetime. For a football fan it seems that there is no experience more important than watching Barca plays in its stadium. People are willing to pay significant amounts of money just to be able to witness these phenomena called football club Barcelona. When there is a match in the Camp Nou, it is normally the best show in town and there are only few football fans that can resist the temptation to visit the famous stadium.

There are several websites where you can purchase FC Barcelona tickets: you can book directly online and have them delivered to your hotel, pick them up by yourself at the specific pick up-point, or you can order your football tickets directly through the official website.

Everybody can purchase tickets through the club web and you do not have to be Spanish or resident in Spain. The only thing you need is a valid credit card. There are 4 simple steps:

1.You choose the game you wish to attend by clicking on the BUY TICKETS icon. Be aware that sometimes, there are no tickets available (anymore) for a specific match, especially important games such as the “Super Clasico” between Football club Barcelona and Real Madrid or final Champions League matches. A map of the Stadium will be opened with the different locations then. Browsing with the cursor over the different sections, you can see the prices in each section and the number of available seats. By clicking on the desired section/sector a detailed drawing of the sector will be opened with indication of the available seats.

2.The seats that are marked in green are available. In order to choose the seats you just click on them. They will be marked in yellow. Some time the system asks you to identify yourself if you have a club member card but it also allow to continue with the purchase without it. After you marked the seats that you are interested in you click on the CONTINUE button.

3.The payment page will be opened specifying the details of the purchase. At this stage the tickets are reserved for you for 4 minutes. You should fill in the form, using your habitual email address and introducing your credit card details. Then you should click on the CONFIRM PURCHASE button.

4.In this page you will be asked to confirm again the payment and if your card details are correct the operation will be completed.

In order to pick up the tickets you MUST have the original credit card, where you have paid with! Without that card, you will not be able to withdraw them!!! You should also have your ID card or passport with you for identification.

You can either pickup the tickets in the stadium in the tickets box (there is a special box for that) print them in any La Caixa bank ATM machine that has a SERVICAIXA terminal.
