Restaurants in Barcelona

Pla de la Garsa is a restaurant situated in the Born district of Barcelona. It opened in 1927 and has therefore a long tradition of Spanish and Catalan food. This restaurant, located in a small street close to Carrer de la Princesa, is hardly to find am from outside, it does not seem to be something special. But as soon as guests passed the door sill, they feel like in a small temple in the middle of down town.

This location has a pleasant Mediterranean atmosphere thanks to the nice interior with marble tables which fit perfectly with the wooden chairs, combined with old artworks from and about Barcelona and the ornate banister of the spiral staircase to the first floor.

The dishes are very good. You can choose between cold and hot dishes from land, sea, river or from the air. Of course there are also Catalan ham and cheeses and an excellent wine card. Especially ham and cheese plates are from high quality and they have a very good price-quality ratio. Therefore we recommend them to our guests.
