There is no doubt that the Catalonian capital Barcelona has a great offer of diverse cuisine from all around the world. You can enjoy traditional Catalan dishes, the must-have tapas and paella. Another old restaurant of the city is Los Caracoles.
Founded by the Bofarull family in 1835, they have been able to transform the restaurant into one the the most charismatic ones in the Gothic District of the city.
The restaurant was renamed later on, to "Los Caracoles", this for honouring one of the most famous dishes, snails (caracoles). This magnificant restaurant is still owned by the Bofarull family, now the fourth generation of the Bofarull's, and they still manage to maintain the same concept of the high quality traditional cooking.
Frequent guests of the restaurant are famous persons from show business, politics, finance and the world of art. The Los Caracoles restaurant was awarded with the Medal of Merit for Tourism.
