The Casa Leopoldo Restaurant is one of Barcelona’s classics. First having been established in 1929, then being shut down in 1939 for the only time in its history and promptly reopened, the restaurant has a history of more than 80 years in Barcelona and is known for its wonderful Catalan style seafood dishes.The restaurant has two dining rooms as well as a welcoming tapas bar, which create a nice atmosphere to dine in. Also, staff is very attentive and friendly and they do their best to make you feel comfortable.

However, when planning to eat at the Casa Leopoldo one should be prepared for a rather pricy meal.

The restaurant is situated in the Raval district of Barcelona and is not a place tourists happen to find by chance. However, it is usually busy and making a reservation is highly recommended. Furthermore, in the evening one should rather take a taxi than walking there or taking the metro, as the area can be a little dodgy at night.
