Muitos dos nossos apartamentos em Barcelona estao localizados no coração do "Barri Gotic". Localizado a oeste da Rambla está o famoso Barri Gòtic ou Bairro Gótico, anteriormente conhecido como o Bairro da Catedral. Sua área se estende aproximadamente do Rambla à Praça Nova (L-5). Isto é onde a colônia romana Barcino foi fundada no século XXI e cuja muralha romana remonta ao século III. Talvez o período de maior esplendor da cidade foi a partir dos séculos XIII-XV, em que a maior parte deste bairro gótico foi construído e hoje contém muitos dos edifícios mais emblemáticos da cidade.

As ruas estreitas e sinuosas criam completamente um labirinto e significa que pode demorar um pouco para começar seus rolamentos. Recomendamos que você deve sempre olhar para cima e em torno de você ou você pode perder alguns dos melhores pontos. O Bairro Gótico é cheio de praças pacífica (praças), onde você pode relaxar e desfrutar de seu entorno.

Duas das mais bonitas praças são Praça del Pi, com sua basílica gótico, e na vizinha Praça de Sant Josep Oriol. São ambos os lugares animados que se transformam em mercados artísticos nos fins de semana. No entanto uma das principais atrações, bem no centro do distrito é a enorme catedral de Barcelona, que tem um incrível pátio cheio de plantas e estranhamente, gansos.


Compras, é também uma grande experiência na parte do Gótico de Barcelona, a partir da área mais movimentada e comercial da Calle(Rua) Portal del Angel para todas as pequenas lojas da Calle Pelayo. Existem paragens de metro em ambos os lados do Bairro Gótico, há três nas Ramblas que vai de um lado da área, e, do outro lado é o Jaume 1 estação. No entanto neste trimestre é relativamente pequena e as principais atrações da cidade estão a poucos passos de distância.
