The Fran Daurel Foundation, located in the Poble Espanyol in Montjuic, shelters a magnificent collection of outstanding works of contemporary art comprising sculptures, paintings, drawings, ceramics and prints. Its purpose is to offer the public an overall view of today’s art. The foundation’s sculpture garden is highly acclaimed and stands on over 5000 sq.m., forming a green space where some 40 sculptures by 27 artists lend shape to a unique setting in which figurativism combines with abstraction.
