The Eixample apartment was one of the first apartments that we have incorporated in our Barcelona apartments section of Apartime.com. This beatiful apartment was purchased by a foreign investor who is not resident in Spain as a vacation property as well as an investment. The purchase was being held by our real estate department, promoted under the name of Homesearch Barcelona.

The location of this apartment was selected carefully. On one had the owner wanted to be within a walking distance from the center of the city but on the other hand he wanted to stay in a tranquil area, mostly residential area, away from the crowd. ipper part of Paseo de Gracia and another 10 minutes further down the street and you are in Plaza Catalunya, entering the old city.

Another reason to choose this particular apartment was it's classical character as being a part of a classical building representing the modernist architecture from the beginning of the 20th century. Even though the apartment was purchased in good conditions we have renovated it. We took a lot of care to preserve its authentic elements such as the marvelous floor tiles, the wood frames doors and windows, the original decorated high ceilings, the glass work etc. The designer/decorator that was employed made a great work in transmitting the authentic feeling of the place but also introducing some modern elements to make lively.

Since 2003, hundreds of our clients used this apartment with a lot of satisfaction, as we always tried to maintain a very attractive price quality relation for this property.
