Skiing from Barcelona
Thursday, 14 January 2010 14:20
If you happen to come to Barcelona in the winter months, it is very easy to go skiing for the day or the week. Being situated so near the Pyranees, Barcelona is well connected for skiing in Andorra.
La Molina is one of the nearest resorts and it only costs 41 euros for a return train ticket and a day ski pass. The train takes about two and a half hours and leaves early in the morning so you can get a full days skiing. Ski, boot and pole hire is only about 17 euros (boots, skis, poles) obviously if you want more gear like helmet etc it will add up but you can have a fantastic days skiing without breaking the bank.

The resort is obviously more limited than somewhere like The Three Valleys but you can have a very enjoyable day out.
