Arrive in Sitges and the door opens to a different style of life: medditerranean, attractive for youngster, adults and retired people, each one on their own level. In Sitges you can see a thousand examples that highlight this different life: artists, walking the dog  at half past eleven in the morning, afternoon tea on a terrace ...

But one of the biggest attractions of the town are the beaches. Sitges has 17 sandy beaches. Four beaches to the east, the first one being Botigues, near the beaches of Castelldefels and along the coast of Garraf are another other three, then eleven urban beaches and two in the west, to which access is more difficult.

Sitges is also home to the Festival Internacional de Cinema de Catalunya, the first fantasy film festival in the world that is, at the same time, the festival with the most media impact in Catalonia. With  solid track record, the Sitges Festival is a stimulating world of meetings, exhibitions, presentations and screenings of fantasy films from around the world.
