Central and Comfortable apartment

USERRATING 9/10 2012-01-22 by client Very comfortable big appartment, clean. Very good location, near marcet, supermarcet, a lot of cafe and restorants. You do not need transport to achieve points of interest, including the sea. But somebody may have problems with narrow staircase without lift. But if you are young and healthy everything is OK/ More about this apartment

paseo de gracia eixample apartments barcelona

The Paseo de Gracia, in Catalan Passeig de Gracia, is one of the main streets of Barcelona and one of the most famous streets in the world. Visitors, as well as local people, love to walk here as it has plenty of nice shops, bars and restaurants. Passeig the Gracia is considered as a show case of outstanding works of modernist architecture. Among these works are the buildings of architects such as Antoni Gaudí or Lluís Domènech I Montaner, declared as World Heritage Sites.

Its most outstanding buildings are La Casa Milà, La Casa Batlló, casa Lleó Morera or the Casa Amatller. In 1906 the architect Pere Falqués I Urpí designed the famous benches”bancs-fanals” that you can see all along the street.

The avenue is located in the very centre of the city, at the Eixample district, connecting the Plaza Catalunya at the south with the Gran de Gracia st. (at the north). It can be compared to the Champs Elisees of Paris, as it is also the second most expensive street of Spain in terms of Real State (the first one is the Preciados st. in Madrid).

At the Paseo de Gracia you will find most shops of the major brands and a big number of luxury shops and boutiques, with an outstanding variety of international and local brands. Some examples are Dolce & Gabanna, Gucci, Valentino, Channel. Along the street you will also find an alternative for those who can afford to pay the prices of these luxury items such as Zara, Bershka, Mango or H&M. In this area there are many exclusive apartments to rent and hotels that will make your stay in Barcelona a unique experience!
