The Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona, or CCCB can be found in El Raval, in the old town of Barcelona, next to tha MACBA museum of contemporary art.
The building was opened in 1994 as a center of urban development and urban culture studies, and became a museum and temporary exhibition centre, with subjects such as photography, sculpture, video art. The temporary exhibitions are often thought provoking and refer to social topics.
