Beach train in Barcelona
Friday, 04 June 2010 08:55
If you are tired of crowded beaches in Barcelona, you can easily jump on a train from plaza Catalunya and get near cool beaches. The train goes by the east shore of Catalunya where are one of the most beautiful beaches in Spain. Train stops quite often, so its really easy to get out almost everywhere you want. The train is quite cheap and for example oneway one hour trip from Barcelona costs about 4 €.
The beaches in the north are nice and clean. There are usually much less people on the beaches so its nice and relaxing to be there. The water is also much more cleaner than in Barcelona. One of the most beautiful beaches are in small village Sant pol, which is a typical Spanish village with white houses and small streets. The beaches itself are hidden in the middle of rocks. There are also some beach bars on the bigger one's so if you get hungry or thirsty, its possible to have a snack.
