A walking tour through the ancient heart of Barcelona, discover the maze of alleyways and nooks of this 2000 year old Barrio

Gothic Walking Tour

The historic Barrio Gótico has witnessed exciting urban activity for over 2000 years. The center of city life since the year 15 A .D., when the Romans built their Forum here, the Gothic Quarter has remained equally dynamic today. Lively festivals and political demonstrations (some more peaceful than others) characterize its plazas and cobblestone streets. I invite you to wander with me through its maze of alleyways and medieval relics to discover its most sequestered nooks. Stroll by boutiques, bakeries, art galleries, and restaurants that opened their doors before your great-great-great grandparents were born. You’ll also take a walk through the ancient Jewish Quarter, or “Call”, and if you’d like, visit one of Europe’s oldest synagogues.  Depending on the tour-length, we can also stop to sample some 'tapas' and local wine, or perhaps “churros y chocolate”, or a fresh glass of ice-cold “horchata”, so that you can taste this neighborhood's delectable charm.

 Prices:

2 hrs:  125€  (up to 2 pax).  +  25€/adult extra.  +  12€/student or child extra. 

4 hrs (half-day):  189€  (up to 2 pax).   + 40€/adult extra  + 20€/student or child extra 

8 hrs (full-day):  299€  (up to 2 pax).  +  70€/adult extra  + suplemento 35€/student or child extra>
 

 NOTE: Price includes public transport if necessary but does not include food/drink or entrance fees for monuments (If required,the tours normally stick to the streets/squares). For half day and full day tours, the guide will accompany the client  to eat in a typical small special restaurant - each person pays for their own dish.
