About the last one, Corte Ingles usually also has a Santa Claus in their mall during Christmas, he will be on the 8th floor at the toy section and it is a fun activity when you are there with children.The entry is free the only thing you need to give is you adress so that when your child has its picture taken with Santa Claus it will be send to your home.

Christmas Markets

Barcelona has a lot of Christmas markets, and those are a must visit if you are here during Christmas time, its great to stroll around at those markets to see and buy some of the things they have to offer.

Fira Santa Llucia Christmas Market

One of Barcelona's most well known Christmas markets, Huge place with lots of the stalls selling Christmas decoration,misseltoes and Christmas trees. As part of the Catalan Christmas traditions Caga Tio plays a important role, its also possible to buy your own Caga Tio at that Christmas market.The whole market has a very Spanish atmosphere, not the typical German ones you usually see at Christmas markets.

Fira de Brocanters Christmas market

Located near plaza Catalunya it is a usual thursdays market from 10:00 until 21:00, during Christmas time though it turns into a wonderfull little Christmas market.It consists of 14 stellars that have a variaty of products on there like postcards,stamps,jewellery and ornaments.
this is a great market to visit during Christmas when you are into antiques.You can reach the place by taking the green L3 line to Plaza Catalunya.

Fira de Nadal a la Sagrada Familia

You can reach it by taking the blue line L5 or the Purple line L2 to Underground station Sagrada Familia.There are some smaller Christmas markets available as well but when you are in Barcelona either of these 3 are most worth visiting.

Little shops in the Gothic Area

The Gothic neighbourhoods is propably one of the best places in Barcelona where you can wonder around for hours just getting lost in the small streets full of amazing buildings and great little stores.

But the period before Christmas is really amazing with a lot of places turning into greatly decorated places that give you the nice feeling of Christmas time. When you are staying in Barcelona make sure to stroll around in the Gothic area as its one of the best places to be in and shop as well.
