Going out in Barcelona

Shoko is one of the big powers when it comes to clubbing in Barcelona, but what makes it stand out from the others like Opium and Catwalk is its amazing restaurant. If you know the club, you will be aware that it is right on the beach and thus imagine what an amazing view you have if you eat there in the evening. Admittedly the clubs on the beach have an air of glamour about them that is not very in keeping with the relaxed way of life in inner city Barcelona, you feel more like you are in St. Tropez rather than Barcelona. However this does not mean in any way that it is not a great place to go to eat, drink and hit the dance floor.

It is recommended for groups because of its delicious set menus and full package of restaurant, bar and club. The food is Asian and Modern European and all delicately presented and very tasty. You will find things like warm goat's cheese salads to start and sushi for main. Their food is very good for ordering bits and bobs to share, where everyone can pick, rather than a full blown meal. If you are only passing though Barcelona briefly then definitely check it out. There is a very international feel there and you get a taste of the high life in Barcelona.

There are two other very big venues nearby; Opium and Catwalk and they all have a very luxurious feel about them. Beware there is a sort of dress code. No trainers, boys wear a collar and girls look like you have made an effort!
