Going out in Barcelona

Bar Marsella is an authentic Spansih experience, tucked away in Raval. It is thought to be on of the first bars in Barcelona, frequented by the likes of Hemingway, Dali, Picasso and ofcourse Gaudi. It is one of those bars in danger of extinction, overcome by the start up of posh, over priced, modern bars which cater to the tourist industry. In fact the tourists would have a much better time in a place like Marsella and would much more easliy immerse themselves in the Spanish culture. If the walls of the bar could talk they would recount the most amazing history of time spent drinking absinthe. With customers such as the artists mentioned above to vagabonds to students, there is no prejudice, just a room full of a wonderful mix of people from all walks of like, bonding over a ridiculously strong drink!
