Parc Zoològic

Barcelona Zoo is a zoo in the Parc de la Ciutadella in Barcelona. The zoo used to be internationally known as the home of Snowflake, the only known albino gorilla, who died in 2003.

Considered as one of the greatest zoos in Spain, the zoologic parc of Barcelona has the advantage that visitors can experience a real proximity with animals. Indeed,
only small barriers separate humanbeings from the amazing world of wild animals.
A lot of children love to come to that zoo in order to become familiar with animals.

The zoo was built in 1892 and has the reputation of being one of the most modern zoos in the world. Equipments are specially well-adapted for wild animals. A Little train drives through the park but you can also rent small electric cars to visit the zoo at your personalized pace.

Visitors can also benefit from a large range of wild animals including reptiles, birds, dolphins and so on.
