Human Towers
The Human Towers are one of the highlights of the Merce festival. Thousands of people are visiting this event each year. Gigantes (Giants Parade)
This parade is a spectacular event for the whole family. Very huge costumed figures are crossing the streets of Barcelona. The Parade is often accompanied by small musicians that beat out a rhythm to the parade.

Corre Foc- Fire Run
During the Correfoc, a group of individual will be dressed as a kind of dragons, which light fireworks. These devils or dragons parade through the streets with bangers and hand held fireworks. There are two different Correfoc during the festival. One of them is intended for the children and is more harmless than the Correfoc for adults.
