A Rooftop in the old city apartment

The location was very central. It not in the most secure part of the city. The terrace was fabulous and made our stay really enjoyable. Would have been nice to have some basic extras for cooking such as oil and condiments and a larger coffee pot. The bed is low so not the best for people with restricted flexibility. Going out in Barcelona

The Teatro Poliorama has been established in the year 1906 as a cinema and for many years it has shown the newest and best the movie scene had to offer at that time. It was only in 1937 that the place had been used as a theatre for the first time (Catalan Theatre of Comedy) and this period only lasted until 1939 when the Second World War broke out and it had not been reopened thereafter until the year 1963. After having been closed for some years in the 80s and after having undergone a huge reconstruction process it was newly reopened in 1985 and has ever since functioned as a theatre with modern appeal.
