In the heart of the Gracia neighborhood, in Barcelona, there is a restaurant called Verdi82 that opened for the first time in 2007 as a family adventure.
This restaurant reflects the image of its neighborhood with its culture, its hype population with its artisans, artists musicians, etc., and unique architecture with the balconies where people hang their clothes for them to dry in the hot summer wind.

If you feel like splashing out and doing something amazing, then visit Comercio 24. (Calle Comercio 24, which is at the end of Calle Princesa). The owner/ chef worked at El Buli in the Costa Brava for many years. El Buli is considered to be one of the worlds top restaurants. Comercio 24 has a tasting menu for about 75€, excluding wine, which gets you about 12 small courses...all wonderful. The chef is prepared to lean the menu in various directions. If you´re vegetarian, or don´t eat fish etc, he is happy to help! They serve lunch and dinner. It´s not so formal that it feels uncomfortable and the service is professional without being pretentious.
El Bulli

El Bulli is probably the most famous restaurant on earth and if you are really looking for a fantastic and unique experience you should definitely consider a trip to this place that is not directly located in Barcelona but in Catalonia in the city of Roses.
It is the only restaurant in the world that has achieved to be rated the number one among the 50 best restaurants in the world for 5 times.

Coca is a dough-based food that can be prepared and eaten as a savoury or sweet dish and that is known in different variations throughout the Mediterranean area and it can be eaten as a type of bread, pizza or cake/pastry. It is very popular in Catalonia and there are some typical Catalan variations that are usually consumed during holidays and for special occasions.
La Cupula

The restaurant La Cupula is a select and exclusive restaurant that offers wonderful first class dishes in a very unique and special atmosphere. It is located very close to Sagrada Familia, yet it is not frequented by the typical tourist.
