We greatly enjoyed our stay in March – the apartment is gorgeous with beautiful original features. Close to, but not right in the old city it was a good base for exploring. We didn’t get to use the roof garden because of the rain, but it would be great in the sun. The owners provide a welcome book, which gives great places to go and eat – very helpful in an area where the better restaurants are hard to find. Will book again. 11/02/2008
we had a wonderful holiday, and the apartment was part of that. we were traveling with two young children so safety was a key feature for us, the area was a bit rougher than expected, but would be fine if it were just adults. It was central for underground, which was ideal. The apartment was fantastic, exactly what i was expecting, and the roof garden was a real bonus for us because when the children were in bed we could sit up there with a bottle of wine, it was lovely. Inside the apartment block was a bit smelly, and also the neighbours got a bit mean when we hadnt shut the lift door properly, banging on the door and shouting, but that was the only problem. The staff at apartime were first class, when we couldnt get through on the phone when we arrived they gave us a curtesy call to find out where we were, which put us at ease straight away, also the guy who came to pick up the rest of the money was super friendly. I would recommend this apartment to anyone, we have very fond memorys of the place.
Lovely, elegantly furnished, fully kitted-out apartment, with private roof terrace (with beautiful plants). Andrew, who let us in, was really pleasant and helpful and referred us to the brilliant Momo for the trip to the airport. The apartment is very convenient to Montjuc area (MNAC, Botanic Garden) and close enough to city centre. Only bad point is the drunks that gather in the square in front of the building (even though they didn't seem to bother anyone passing by).
Fabulous apartment in a great location, away from tourist traps but very convenient for restaurants, food shopping etc etc.
