A Rooftop in the old city apartment

USERRATING 8/10 2012-05-20 by client The location was very central. It not in the most secure part of the city. The terrace was fabulous and made our stay really enjoyable. Would have been nice to have some basic extras for cooking such as oil and condiments and a larger coffee pot. The bed is low so not the best for people with restricted flexibility. Barcelona port

The best way of discovering the city of Barcelona is by strolling around. So if you are a walking lover, than ignore the public transfer in Barcelona for a while and explore the city from a very close view. You might discover the most beautiful hidden places, that you had never see, by traveling by metro!

1. Boardwalk

Begin your walk by admiring the sailboats in the Olympic Port as you continue down the beautiful boardwalk gaze into the Mediterranean waters. This is always a very lively place with active young people rollerblading or running down the boardwalk. The scene is home to incredible views of the water and the port. Stop to grab a sandwich or ice cream cone at one of the many kiosks -or sit down and relax in the Barceloneta Park. End your walk at the front of the Westin Hotel and if you're looking for a luxurious treat, have a drink on the top floor of this beautiful hotel. Breath-taking views of the city!
