A Rooftop in the old city apartment

USERRATING 8/10 2012-05-20 by client The location was very central. It not in the most secure part of the city. The terrace was fabulous and made our stay really enjoyable. Would have been nice to have some basic extras for cooking such as oil and condiments and a larger coffee pot. The bed is low so not the best for people with restricted flexibility. The hotels in Barcelona centre are relatively expensive and during many periods of the year they are completely booked.  Rentals apartments in Barcelona are always good choice, especially if you are travelling with family or in small groups. Most of the Barcelona rentals apartments are equipped to serve up to 6 persons, although in some cases accommodation for more then 6 persons are also available.

St JordiI just came back from visiting the old city alter a long morning in the office, wondering what kind of Sant Jordi is waiting for us today. Well, the first think to mention is the great weather…well not really great weather but rather amazingly great weather!  Not a cloud in the sky, 20ºC, nice fresh wind to spread a little the heat, what else can you ask for a Sant Jordi day?

Magic fountain BarcelonaThe Magic Fountain is located near Plaza Espanya, and was one of the last features built for the International Exposition of 1929, owing to the change of direction taken by the organization of this event with the arrival of the dictatorship of Primo de Rivera. In 1928 it was decided to use lights to turn the central avenue into an “a fiery ember”, a project commissioned to Carles Buïgas, engineer and chief of the electromechanical installations section of the Exposition.

Here are 10 tips about how to choose your holiday accommodation in Barcelona, assuming that apartment accommodation is what will best suit your needs.

Many times friends are asking me to help them to choose their flat. The offer of short term rentals apartments in our web page is big and in some cases clients tend to get confused. On one hand the Raval neighbourhood sounds really cool and very interesting place to stay in but on the other hand it is quite busy and not so clean and neat as the Gothic quarter or the Borne. Or perhaps it will be better to rent an apartment in the Eixample where there is much less tourist movement and the area is more residential.
