In this very typical and different cuisine of Mediterranean, there are too many unique traditions and characteristical tastes. Being one of the most productive cuisines, the Catalan Cuisine is very popular nowadays and famous for being open to change and modernism. The new generation Catalan chefs who are famous worldwide blend new and old, tradition and modern in the same dish and create new tastes continously. Historically, Catalan Cuisine is a mixture of Frecnh Catalonia and Andorra, mainly considered as a part of Spanish Cuisine.
Thanks to Mediterranean Sea, the fresh seafood is one of the main ingredients of the cuisine. Apart form the seafood, the healthy side of the Mediterranean culture takes part and fresh vegetables like garlic, tomato, eggplant and red pepper are main players. Also the charcuterria mostly products of pork plays a role with all kinds of sausages, hams and any type of meat. The most typical one is Jamon Iberico which is strongly recommended to taste.

Parque de la Ciudadela, or Parc de la Ciutadella, was during many years the only park in the city of Barcelona. It is bordered by the Pujades Paseo street, Paseo Picasso street and Wellington Street. Its more than 17 hectares, not counting the Barcelona Zoo, have ten entrances to the park, where you can find several museums, the Arc de Triomphe, the Parlament de Catalunya ...
