Aida has become a well known and impressive opera performed around the world. Performed at the Gran Teatre del Liceu on 25 February 1877, the opera returns to this theather this year. In four acts, the story of the egyptians who are at war with the Ethopians is told. Set in Egypt in the pjaraohs days Aida has an impressive atmospere. Aida, an Ethiopian slave falls in love with an Egyptian commander, here the romantic drama begins. The opera lasts approximately 3 hours and 55 minutes and forty-five minutes before each performance, an information session about the opera is held in the Foyer. This is open to all  members of the audience.
