This festival takes place at various venues in Barcelona. Barcelona Design Festival is a series of events showcasing that aims to position Barcelona as an international design capital. The FAD (Foment de les Arts i del Disseny) and BCD (Barcelona Centre Disseny) work this year together for the second edition of the Barcelona design festival. There are two main activities, the FADfest from the 26th of June till 12 July and the Barcelona design week from 1 till 5 October. In the other months the people can prepare their designs.
