At the end of May, Barcelona hosts one of the top festivals in Europe – Primavera Sound 2012. Back for its 12^th year, the festival continues to focus on independent music and is already gearing up to put a spring in Barcelona’s step once again. The music festival is bringing live music fans a line-up of top class live bands performing hardcore, grunge, extreme rock, electronic and pop and rock music as well as a massive line-up of big name DJs. The legendary British band The Cure is confirmed for 2012 Primavera Sound festival and perform on Friday 1st of June at the Parc del Fòrum site in a two hour show featuring songs from their fourteen studio albums, including iconic "Wish", which celebrates its twentieth anniversary this year.

The 12th edition of Primavera Sound festival Barcelona is from Wednesday 30th May 2011 to Sunday 3rd June 2012.
