Frances Torres will be featuring his now exhibition dedicated to the terrorists attack of 9/11 in NYC. It is made of historical memories, national memories, social and individual grieving through photos of the areas used for the preservation of material removed from where the world trade center's symbol used to be. These are pictures of destroyed fire engines, bits of building converted into compressed magma, pieces of steel, police cars, etc.
This exhibition coincide with the 10th anniversary of this world wide know attack and will be featured the very same day at the International Center of Photography–ICP in New York and at the Imperial War Museum in London.
The CCCB has a total surface area of 15,000 m2, divided into three exhibition galleries, two lecture halls, an auditorium and multipurpose spaces such as the foyer, the Pati de les Dones courtyard and the Mirador Hall, as well as office and storage spaces. Some of these spaces are available for hire.
