In honour of the Primavera schools festival, 50 pianos have been put all round the city in the parks. The simple uprights are all painted differently with interesting designs and are there for anyone to play when they feel like. They have been put there in aid of the Maria Canals Music Competition and will be there until the 26th March 2010.

Park Ciutadella is the perfect place for them as the place is already filled with people practicing perfrormance skills whether it be in juggling, tight rope walking or cocktail shaking. When the sun comes out the park is full of people chilling out and what a great addition the pianos are. Similarly in Park Montjuic they are an extra bonus as the people that play are normally the ones that know how to, so it is actually enjoyable the listen to.
