You are planning your trip to Barcelona and you have organised almost everything, but the last and the most important thing that we normally do not want to care about is the accommodation. In the sea of "last minute, best, mega" offers almost everyone can get lost. Not only because we can be deceived (read more about it in the article: "cheap apartments Barcelona - cheap is expensive"), but also there is an amount of things we would never take into consideration before booking the apartment, if we do not have any bad experience with cheap apartments Barcelona, or we have travelling friends, who can serve us with someuseful advices.

So what is really important?

• Reading very carefully the whole content of the website. Start with general terms, so you can learn about the conditions of bookingcancellation, changes in the reservation, any additional payments etc. It is extremely important in case of any unexpected situation - you never can be completely sure about what is going to happen, so better be prepared for any case.
• Than, as you have already chosen the apartment you have to analyse the description of the flat. Check the number of rooms, if the living room has a connection to the kitchen, if it is a studio apartment, which kind of beds are in every room - think which kind of apartment will suit your needs most. Compare the equipment of several apartments - maybe there is something you missed but could becrucial for your parties f.ex: hair-dryer for ladies.
• If you are travelling in winter: do not forget about checking the central heating!!!! As the air conditioning is normally a standard in southern countries, central cheating is a kind ofluxus .winter lasts only couple of weeks, so most of the buildings are not "adjusted" to colder nights. Of course the more reputable agencies care about the heating in their apartments
• Elevator. Barcelona is full of beautiful, old buildings. And many of those buildings do not have elevator (especially in the Gothic quarter). So you have to check if you have the lift in the flat where the apartment is, or book something on the lower level. Nobody likes to walk many stairs up every day, especially during your holiday time.
• For some crucial, but for everyone very important aspect is the location. The apartment has to have access to night buses, metro station and other public transportation. Moreover it should be in the city centre. Even if you book something cheaper but located far from the centre you will have to buy the tickets to reach the tourist attractions, so finally you will have the apartment at rock-bottom price but still paying a lot for transport.
