Museum of shoes- Museu del Calçat

The “Museu del Calçat" (the shoe museum) is a museum with a big collection of shoes, located in the lovely Gothic quarter.

In this museum you can find the history of footwear, a section of shoe worn by famous personalities like Pau Casals, Nuria Feliu and Charlie Rivel. Situated in a nice courtyard with a dedicated attendant, you can see examples of shoes from Roman times through the Victorian ages up until the modern day.

This charming museum is something different from all the other touristic places, because it is not only cheap, it is also interesting. If you are looking for something unusual, this is the place to visit.
