Miniature Catalonia

Catalunya en Miniatura was founded in 1983 by the family Ercilla. The aim of the park was creating a map with the highlights of Catalonia. It is a unique and fascinating place to visit, especially with children. It is the biggest touristic and cultural complex in miniature of the world. It displays all the famous monuments, buildings and places Catalonia has to offer.

All pieces are carefully designed and build in a scale of 1:25 of its original and it takes time, precision and lots of patience to complete a new work. During 2012, the park has made a major effort to make this countryside into a tourist resort, where you can enjoy a new experience.

Besides the miniature things, they also provide other services for a great day. There is a picnic area, bar, restaurant, playground and a souvenir shop.
