Barcelona City Guide The best things to see and do in Barcelona

Illa Fantasia

Illa Fantasia is one of Europe's largest water parks. It is located in the north of Barcelona in a town called Mataró. The Illa Fantasia water park has over 20 different water slides and 3 large swimming pools. So there is plenty of water to cool off during the sunny summer days in Barcelona. The attraction offers you slides, rides, rubber rings, tunnels and much more.

The park has water attractions for all ages including toddlers. The park has the "Splash n Slide" which is a safe attraction for the little ones. There are dry activities as well for those of you who don't like swimming such as mini-golf.

You can find themed areas like the Pirates Maze, the Adventure zone and much more.

In the barbecue area, you can eat food supplied by the park, or you can eat your own food. There is also a large supermarket right next to the water park, where you can stock up on all the essentials before you enter. Furthermore, there are around 800 picnic tables, so you won’t have difficulties finding a seat. There are also two grills, in which you can bring along some food to barbecue.

The park also has its own restaurants. El Chef Restaurant offers dining in a more formal environment. There are also fast food venues including a burger bar, a coffee and ice cream bar, and a pancake house.
