La Merce Festival
La Merce is one of the biggest festivals in Barcelona which celebrates to honor the city’s patroness Saint: La Merce (or Lady of Mercy). The festival has been naming as the official holiday since 1871. During La Merce many great activities will be organizing, such as Castellers (the human tower), Correfoc (fire run), Gigantes (the giant parade)… If you plan to visit Barcelona at that time don’t forget to take part in it.
