BCN marathon
Help to raise money for cancer research by running in the Barcelona marathon. This marathon is not as big as the one in New York or London but is still very popular in Barcelona. The start and finish is at Avinguda de la Reina Maria Cristina. The annual Barcelona Marathon is a very well-organised and an increasingly popular event on the global marathon calendar with over 15.000 runners in the 2011 edition of BCN marathon. The route is entirely in Barcelona city with water points lining the route and a massage service and showers, as well as plenty of changing rooms at the finish line.
