ITMA 2011
ITMA-International Exhibition of Textile Machinery will take place in Fira Barcelona from 22 to 29 of September. Being organized every four years since 1951, ITMA has been marking as the worldwide leading exhibition of textile and garment machinery. Thanks to various activities such as World Textile Summit, Textile Dyestuff and Chemical Leader’s forum…the event aggregates top figures and companies in textile industry and offers chances to set up business, networking opportunities.

The Fira Barcelona is one of the oldest exhibition venues of the city. It dates back to the universal exhibitions that took place in 1888 and 1929. Most shows and exhibitions of Barcelona are held there where Fira Barcelona has a portfolio of 80 trade shows that take place annually, biannually etc. The shows have over three and a half million visitors all together. Over 40,000 companies have been present at the Fira Barcelona for exhibitions. It includes two exhibition centres, Montjuic and Gran Via which is the larger one of the two.
