Built in 1929 by the design of architect Pere Domènech i Roura, the Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys stadium has been holding many sport activities in Barcelona.
The capacity of the stadium is 55,000 and used to expand to 70,000 during the 1992 Olympics.
