Barcelona opens the 080 Fashion and the Brandery exhibitions

Barcelona- As from today the fashion is taking over Barcelona, the city that celebrates this week the independent fashion salon called "080 Barcelona Fashion" and the urban fashion fair called "The Brandery", which together are gathering more that 200 exhibitors in the Fira of Montjuic.
As from today and for the next 3 days a total of 18 designers will present their proposals for the season of 2010-2011 at the 080 Barcelona Fashion course, being sponsored by the Catalan government. Among the presenters are Bibian Bloe, Cardona Bonache, Jan Lu mes, Manuel Bolaño...

The salon will give the Best collection award which will be decided by an international Jury of designers and with a prize of 10,000 Euros for the best man collection and anther 10,000 for the best woman collection.
This salon is aspiring since it creation in 2007 to be an international reference of the independent fashion and design and to make Barcelona become the capital of the independent fashion sector.

As from tomorrow this salon will share glamour with the Brandery exposition which will take place between the 27th and the 29th of January with about 160 exhibitors which will be added to the 50 of the 080 Barcelona Fashion.
The celebration of the Bread and Butter exhibition specialized also in urban fashion will take place in Berlin between the 7 and 9 of July.
The organizers of the Catalan exhibition are expecting around 12,000 professional visitors. The Brandery will occupy this year twice of the space of last year.
