The Born neighbourhood is full of attractions that are a “must” for the first time visitor to Barcelona, such is the Picasso museum, the Passage del Born, the Santa Maria del Mar cathedra, the Ciudadela park, the recently and beautiful reopened Santa Caterina Market, Montcada street and Flassaders street, the Palau de la Música Catalana in the upper part of the Born etc… Although it is a little off the centre of the old city and some 20 minutes walk to Plaza Catalunya it is definitely very recommended for short term accommodation apartments.
