There is not much time left to plan your New Years Eve in London but it is still possible. It is a great city all the year round but on the 31st of December it is more alive than ever. All the christmas decorations are still up and the city still has a festive feel to it, which heightens everyone´s excitement when it comes to welcoming in the New Year.

There are your standard parties in club and bars, like in any other city but you will also find people celebrating on the street and in house parties.

When the clock strikes twelve there is no tradition, like in Spain and "las uvas", instead there is just one huge cheer and an amazing fireworks display televised all over the country.

The prices for clubs are very mcuh the same as any normal night out in London. But they will be packed full and you might find yourself queueing for hours, or even being refused for not having got on a guest list. To avoid this, decide where you want to go and make sure you sort out entrance before the night.

New Years in London will be a night not to be forgotten, in one of the most vibrant cities in the world.
