London guide - London attractions
There are too many options for a night out if you live in Knesington and its neighborhood. You can prefer a traditional English pub, a high-end bar or go directly to partying in the clubs mostly located close to each other. One problem might be the prices as it is said to be one of the most expensive areas in the city. But the good point is that those places are mainly on two streets, Kensington High and Kensington Church. Go to a pub and experience the British pub culture in its place. WIth its dim-lighted atmosphere the 190 Bar just under Gore Hotel or The Beaconsfield Pub which is very close to Kensington subway station might be a great choice. Taste the good beer and some snacks if you would like to. Another typical place would be Builders Arms, where you can also watch main sports events from the projector and enjoy some shots. There are many little local pubs in this area that are not necessarily expensive and serving well.Other bars that are serving in this area:
The Goat: Typical, traditional English pub serving English dishes.
The Kensington: Local pub having comedy and music nights.
Or enjoy a posh sip of a cocktail or a selection of wine from a wide list in the area. Both can be done in one spot, for example, Babylon where you can also enjoy the LOndon skyline if it is summer. Also there is Live Jazz on Thurdays. Another option would be Dunes, with a french inspired menu and drinks meaning mostly wine. Others:
The Plum: Serving menu of cocktails and special menu for vegeterians.
20 Kensington: With their private booths and dance floor, you can enjoy the night.
20 Lounge Bar: Very high end, speacial experience with cocktails and atmosphere.
The Piano Bar: Famous with its Piano nights, gets crowded at the weekends. Good to remember!
For clubbing, you can choose The Roof Gardens, which was built in 1938 first, where there are themed gardens one with a lake and flamingos and a club house inside, another is a Spanish garden and the last one is the Tudor garden. The club can cater for you if you wish up to 120 people. More:
The Crescent Club: With its powerful sound and lighting system, this club offers you a luxury night out.
Plan your trip not missing these spots in London. Stay in the Kensington apartment, then enjoy your nights out one of these bars.
