London guide - London attractions

London Brass RubbingThe London Brass Rubbing Center is located in the Church of St Martins-in-the-Fields, near Trafalgar Square. In this church you can also find  the tomb of many famous Londoners as Nell Gwynne, the mistress of Prince Charles II and the painters William Hogarth and Joshua Reynolds.

During the Second World War, the church served as a refuge, and still today it develops charitable activities and provides food to the poor. It also has a cafe and a religious bookstore.

London Brass Rubbing Center turns out to be a simple but attractive alternative, where visitors can create rubbings of brass, with the help of his friendly staff. It is an activity that requires concentration and is the perfect excuse to learn history, for both children and adults.

To create the rubbings, you can choose from more than 80 replicas in brass, which includes knights armors and elegant ladies, willing to model to create an innovative souvenir to take home.

Open hours are, from Monday to Wednesday between 10.00 am to 18.00 pm and Thursday through Saturday, open until 22:00 pm., along with a coffee bar and a craft market that takes place in the church courtyard.

The price of the entrance is of 4.50 pounds per person (same for adults or children).
