Berlin Guide - Other Attractions

Here are the dimensions of this gigantic hall: 360 meters long, 210 meters wide and (unimaginable) 107 meters height. It is so big, that the New York's Statue of Liberty (93 m) could stand inside of it, and Eiffel Towers (322 m) lie inside. Situated on the surface of 6.6 hectares. It is a huge water park stylized as tropical island.
Among the tropical forests you can find villages of Borneo and Bali, beautiful and exotic beaches, lagoon where the water exceeds 32 degrees. There are more than 20 thousands plants and more than 1km of small 'tracks'. In addition, there are some 'traditional' water parks attractions - slides tubes leading from a 25-foot tower! Besides a golf course, a scene in which every evening acrobatics and magic shows take place etc.

Access from Berlin

By car: 35 km south of Berlin Schönefeld, just off the A13 Berlin/Dresden motorway take the Staakow exit and follow the signs to Tropical Islands (aproximately for 3km)

By train: Regional Express RE2 to Brand (Niederlausitz); from Alexanderplatz about 50 min
Regionalbahn RB14 to Brand from Berlin Ostbahnhof

From the railway station at Brand, there is a free shuttle bus to Tropical Islands, which are coordinated with the trains schedule.

Daily: 24 hours
Spa and Sauna: 9 am to 1 am

Tickets

Visitors get at the entrance an appropriate chip wristband depending on which of the main areas they would like to visit (Tropical World or Tropical Spa; Sauna complex). Any payments inside of the Tropical Islands are made with this wristband (food, drinks, extra services). Every cross between the 2 areas are charged with extra 8.50 EUR per day. There is also a possibility of buying aCombo Ticket for both zones (no additional charges for crossing from one landscape to another). Children under 14 are not charged for crossing the zones

Overnight charge at 3 am of 10 EUR
