Each year, from early November to ealy January, there are holiday market all across NYC that only sell hand-made and artisans items or other traditional items and treats. You can find these markets in different neighborhood of NYC.

Union Square

The Union Square market is one of the biggest, most expected and most famous holiday market in NYC. It offers a large range of items going from handcrafted jewelry, clothes, fine art, handmade ornaments,toys,etc.
You can go holiday shopping in Union Square from early November to early January.

The market is open on:

• 11 a.m. - 8 p.m. daily
• Closed on Thanksgiving Day

Bryant Park

This free fair features over 120 artisans and merchants. They come from all over the world and are happy to share and show what they make and produce during this happy time of the year.You can get special discounts, samples, all along the exhibition. Also there are many events going on when the market is open. Each week end is different, and the opening is a magic moment. After walking around the stands, you can go ice-skating for free at the Pond at Bryant Park.

The Grand Central Holiday Fair

Housed inside Grand Central Terminal, this market is the best choice place to hang out during the holiday season no matter whether the weather allows you to go outside. It features76 hand-picked vendors featuring unique, one-of-a-kind merchandise from jewelry to women's, men's and children apparel to hand-made crafts, home décor and toys.
This holiday fair will open on November 15th and close on December 24th.

• Sun: 11am - 7pm
• Closed on Thanksgiving Day

Columbus Circle

Columbus Circle is also another great place to go Christmas shopping and find great local gifts for your friends and family. It is located on the most central, convenient and beautiful parts of the city, right off of Central Park and features over 120 vendors.
This holiday market will be open from November 30rd until December 24th.
