Berlin Guide - Shopping in Berlin

It is one of the oldest shopping centres in Berlin with a wide offer of boutiques. It is located just in the Ku'Damm area, so it's worth to step by, even if you found everything you needed on Kürfursendamm. It is recommendable to visit it, because of some unusual sculptures and attractions connected to the centre. One of them is World Fountain, a popular meeting place of acrobats artists and pantomime actors. Other popular attraction is "Clock of Flowing Time" designed in 1982 by Frenchman Bernard Gitton. The 13m high clock stretched across three whole floors, giving as face to time with the help of liquid in 12 large and 30 oblate small glass spheres. After a tiring day you can take a rest in Tiffany's Café next to the Lotus Fountain. Both form a calm oasis, where you can hear the flow of water and enjoy cafe with cake.
