Berlin Guide - Restaurants

The number of restaurants in Berlin is enormous, so for the visitors it can be complicated to choose the right one. That is why we have prepared a list of places which are famous for their excellent cuisine.

Nocti Vagus

As our eyes work all of the day, they can take a rest in this restaurant. The guest are consuming their meals in complete darkness, guided by visually impaired waiters. This kind of experience gives the opportunity to concentrate completely only on tastes, because the guests either see the food nor are sure what are they eating (4 course - menus contain a description, which gives an idea what is the meal made of, but it is not specified like in a "normal" restaurant). The dinner gets even more exciting if you decide to take part in "dark show".

Zur Letzten Instanz

It is the oldest restaurant in Berlin which was grounded in 1621 under the previous name "Biedermeierstübchen". Situated in the oldest part of the city, Zur Letzten Instanz is one of the most popular destinations for those who like great food in extraordinary atmosphere. Even Napoleon was one who get charmed by the uniqueness of this place and was one of the frequent visitors. If you want to get to know the original German cuisine it is the perfect place to go. What is more? The restaurant is situated inNikoleiviertel, so during sightseeing you will pass through this part of the city at least once.

This restaurant is well known for it's first-class cuisine. Borchardt

Founded by A.F.W. Borchardt "Borchard Restaurant" is an excellent place to taste the real french cuisine. It is located in several excellent places all over Berlin (Orangerie of Charlottenburg Castle, Bodemuseum, O2 arena), but the original one is situated in Französische Straße. German celebrities, politicians, sportsmen visit quite often this world-class restaurant with elegant interior.
